Welcome Ellie – Global Works Intern

Hi my name is Ellie Nichols and I’m the new Global Works summer intern! I’m from Denver, Colorado and am thrilled to be working at the Boulder home office. This fall I’ll be a Sophomore at Skidmore College and am planning to major in International Affairs and minor in Philosophy. I love to travel and was lucky enough to go to Puerto Rico with Global Works in the summer of 2008. The program was great, I had a total blast and really enjoyed working in the El Yunque Rainforest and with local communities. I’m glad to be part of the GW team again and am looking forward to what Global Works has to teach me this summer!

Global Works added a new tab, Trip Journals, to our blog!  With 21 Summer Service Adventure trips out in the field, we needed a method to get information and updates to parents, friends and families!  We are updating our trip journals nearly every day with new stories and photos directly from leaders and participants in the field.
