Global Works: Post Trip Reunions

The friendships made throughout our Global Works programs last beyond the adventure.  From time to time, our participants and leaders share their reunion stories with our Home Office – speaking of the meaningful relationships that have developed through their abroad experiences.

In most recent reunions, French leader Sophie Kienlen took a trip to New York City. Her and two participants, Ethan and Andrew caught up while strolling through Central Park and visiting Andrew’s school. (more…)

Global Works: Students Featured

Alumni Participants, Abby Baigelman and Hannah Wilson, who participated in the Global Works  Costa Rica 4 Week – La Pura Vida Pueblo a la Playa,  program in 2009 were featured in their local school Paper. Carcassonne in the eyes of Global Workers

In 2009, our Global Works France group participated in the photographic project for the town of Carcassonne. The website of the Association des sites du Pays Cathare devoted a web page to “Carcassonne in the eyes of Global Workers”.  It aims at presenting the outlook of young American visitors on the life of the Carcassone area and its people.
