Welcome Tom, Global Works newest member

Global Works newest member of the team, Tom Appell, came on board this past week as our sales manager.  Already jumping into action, he participated in a 350.org gathering, “A Bike Ride for Clean Energy and Climate Justice” last weekend.  This ride was part of the International Day of Climate Action, which joined communities from around the globe. The aim of this event was to call attention to a number, 350, which stands for a concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide in parts per million.  Many scientists have agreed that 350ppm should be the new goal for the world average. Groups gathered internationally with hopes to send a message to our world leaders about this goal. (more…)
